Let us help you revitalize your wardrobe!

Looking to make some extra cash and keep your closet eco-friendly? Consign your designer & independent label apparel, handbags, shoes, and accessories with us!  You’ll earn cash or store credit to shop something new—and together, we’ll help the planet by giving your items a second life.

Drop off your consignment items any day of the week! Within a few days, we’ll email you a list of the items we’ve accepted. You can arrange to pick up unaccepted items or choose to have us donate them on your behalf.

Appointments are helpful for our staff, but feel free to swing by anytime during our store hours—11 AM to 6 PM daily. We’re excited to help you make room in your closet and find fresh pieces to love. 

 How to consign:

1. Review & submit our Consignment Agreement. Before bringing in your items, please make sure they meet our acceptable brand and quality guidelines. This includes items that are in excellent condition, clean, and free of any damages or stains. You can visit our Favorite Brands list to get an idea of what we're looking for. 
2. Schedule your consignment drop-off: Preferred, but not required! This helps us to plan & prepare for our day. You can schedule your drop-off on this Appointment Calendar
3. When you arrive for your appointment, please make sure all items are folded and brought in a bag you don't want back. Paper or plastic bags work great. No hangers please!
4. You will receive an email within a few days of your drop off with the items we've selected. We typically select items based on their quality, style, and current demand. You will then have the option to donate any unaccepted items, or arrange a time to pick them up.
5. Once we've accepted your items, you will receive a pricing email within a week. This email will include a link to your personal consignment account where you can track your sales!
6. Watch your consignment turn into cash to use in store for a 10% boost, or cash out with Venmo, PayPal, or a check.

Consignment period

Items are consigned for a period of approximately 120 days. During the period, monthly price reductions occur. At the end of the consignment period, or if at any point we have item(s) to give back to you, we'll email you to arrange a pickup.

Pricing & Commission

Prices are set by Modo Boutique unless otherwise requested. Payouts are based on the percentage scale below:

How & When Will I get paid:

• Come in to use some or all as store credit or shop online (select Store Credit at checkout)
• Request a Payout via PayPal, Venmo or Paper Check ($1 fee per payout)

*Store Credit can be used immediately after something sells and is worth 10% more than PayPal/Venmo/Check payout. PayPal/Venmo/Checks can be issued anytime after our 14 day return period has passed. 

What we're looking for:

At Modo Boutique, we carefully consider several factors when accepting items for consignment and pricing them. We focus on the style, brand, seasonality, & condition of the items to ensure they meet our standards and appeal to our customers. Additionally, we take into account our clientele and our inventory needs.

STYLE:
We look for items that are popular current trends from within the last 1-2 years along with select vintage. What's current may be a matter of cut and fabric or in some cases, brand. Style is often more important than brand; just because you have a high-end designer item doesn't mean it's something that sells well for us at this time.

BRAND:
We primarily buy based on known brands & designer that our customers love. 

A few of our favorite brands are: AgoldE, Ali Golden, Ace & Jig, Burberry, Caron Callahan, Chanel, Clare V, Doen, Dolce & Gabbana, Elizabeth Suzann, Frank & Eileen, Frye, Gucci, Jenni Kayne, Jesse Kamm, Lululemon, Louis Vuitton, Nili Lotan, Prairie Underground, Prada, Rag + Bone, Ulla Johnson, Vince, Vuori and so many more. 

We also occasionally accept a limited number of mainstream brands such as: Everlane, Anthropologie, J. Crew, Madewell, Zara, etc.

We generally never accept items by the following brands: Forever 21, Banana Republic, Gap, Shein, Abercrombie, Ann Taylor, Jones New York, Polo, Old Navy, Coldwater Creek, Anne Klein, Liz Claiborne, Chico’s, etc.


SEASON AND INVENTORY:
We accept items seasonally, and are looking for clothing purchased new within the last two to three years as well as select vintage. 

CONDITION:
Please select the very best of what you have.

We ask that items are in like-new condition, freshly laundered, free of rips and tears, stains, pet hair, and other signs of wear.
